Candice Susnjar is a passionate and intuitive composer who crafts sonic wonderlands ranging from solo works to full orchestral orchestration infusing electronics in an harmonious blend of old and new.
Being a finalist in the Indie Film Music Contest 2022, she was also chosen to participate in the AIR Mentorship Program 2022 where she was mentored by esteemed film, TV and games composer Ash Gibson Greig. She has received commissions from The West Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra, Artemis Orchestra, Marshall McGuire (harp), Mirabilis Collective and has arranged music for Decibel New Music Ensemble and Tender is the Night who pair prolific Western Australian singer/songwriters with a string quartet. Candice has earned a placement on the hit Korean Netflix reality show Physical: 100 (2023) and has worked with WA Screen Academy graduates scoring short films which have shown at the Luna Palace Cinema in Perth. Candice was chosen to take place in ArtsiX (2023), brainchild of Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe), which is a groundbreaking collaboration of composers, producers, visual artists and animators creating digital art with music sold as NFTs. Additionally, she was the recipient of an Australian arts grant to attend the Games Developers Conference 2024 in San Francisco. Candice is also a producer, guitarist and vocalist. She loves tinkering on the piano with her cat Lyla who also loves to play by running down the keys. |
