Candice is an intuitive and passionate composer whose work spans classical, contemporary, and jazz styles with expertise in composition, arrangement, orchestration, and production. Her music has been featured in games, films, live performances, and studio recordings.
Her recent projects include music for the theatre show Dragon I that was premiered Perth Festival 2026, compositions for the game Don’t Stop, Girly Pop, short film Delusion which was selected for the 2024 WA Made Film Festival and Santa Duties which was nominated for an award as part of the WA Screen Culture Awards. Her music has been globally recognised including placements on Netflix’s hit Korean reality series Physical: 100 and more.
Candice was composer in residence (2024) with chamber music ensemble Mirabilis Collective which resulted in the commissions of It Was Only a Dream and Despite It All. She has been commissioned by Artemis Orchestra (big band) and the West Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra (big band, strings, horns, and woodwinds). Her harp piece, Pyrus-E, was recorded by renowned harpist Marshall McGuire at ABC Studios in Sydney. She has also produced arrangements for the renown Australian music ensemble Decibel New Music, Tender is the Night (string quartet paired with WA singer-songwriters) and Perth Symphony Orchestra.
Candice has participated in numerous programs including Highscore Co-Op 2024, the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive 2023, and multiple Women on the Podium conducting symposia. As the recipient of an Australian government arts grant, Candice attended the 2024 Game Developers Conference (GDC 2024) in San Francisco. She also received funding to participate in Mess's Game Audio Intensive Course and to attend to the game music conference Highscore 2024 and additional game industry events GCAP and PAX.
With a Bachelor of Music (Jazz) majoring in Composition and Arrangement from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Candice brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her projects being skilled in classical and contemporary composition, arranging, orchestration, mixing, mastering, singing, and guitar performance.
